Sam Evans

As of right now, my Sam here is on an indefinite hiatus... if not shelved for good. As hard as I have tried, and as much as he has mostly been AU since Duets in Season 2, I just haven't been able to resurrect enough of an interest in the character to continue writing him. The character has become so inconsistent in canon, and although I am a big SamCedes shipper, there's not enough of that for me to have a connection to the character either. Not even going to lie, the nail in the coffin was him picking a fight with Puck in the last episode for wanting to focus on studying and graduating. Considering Sam is supposed to be canonically dyslexic, it seemed like a douchy thing to do.

So, Sam's signing off in all verses I have him in. The awesome writer behind justwants2dance/bad2theboner is going to cover Sam's departure from the verses we have shipped Sam in. For the sake of backwithbaggage, Sam will remain an NPC with his backstory until it it's decided what direction Mike heads in over there.

Of course, I won't be personally going anywhere and will still be around with my other muses, the demanding bitches that they are becoming ;)
